A British made teak bureau produced in the 1960’s. The front of the top section pulls down to be used as a desk and the inside is fitted with a raised section with divisions for papers etc. The lower part of the cabinet has a pair of doors and each side contains a cupboard with adjustable shelf. A nice feature is that the grain on the front is continuous across the doors and desk front. The whole piece is of very good quality and in excellent condition. The edges of the desk front and the doors are profiled to form an integral handle along their complete length. This means the front is uncluttered and the grain of the wood is shown to full effect.
