An original pair of pedestal wine tables from the Tulip range designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll in 1958. These examples were produced circa 1970. White laminate and wooden tops with crisp bevelled edge on cast aluminium bases. Perfectly balanced, the weight and strength of the metal bases mean the tables are extremely stable and the stems can be wonderfully slender. The threaded connection between top and base creates an uninterrupted line between the two components that is unique to original knoll examples.
