George Reinoehl for Stow & Davis Walnut Armchairs 1959

A pair of solid walnut armchairs designed by George Reineohl and produced by Stow & Davis, Grand Rapids Michigan USA circa 1959. The chairs are in excellent condition and have been fully re-upholstered in premium black aniline leather with a lovely buttery, soft feel. The seat height is higher than other armchairs we have at the moment and is more like a dining or desk chair height. The finely grained solid walnut frames have been professionally and sensitively finished to bring out the beauty of the timber and preserve the colour while respecting the age of the chairs.
