Pair of Stag Walnut Chests

A pair of walnut and ebonised small chests designed by John & Sylvia Reid and produced by British manufacturer Stag in the 1950’s. Model C104 from the Cumberland Range of furniture with turned black legs, recessed drawer openings and framing. Each chest has 3 drawers and their smaller size would allow them to be used as bedsides. Beautiful golden colour and grain to the walnut and in very good condition. Original labels, including the advertising slogan “for the young in heart and pocket”.
