1960’s Walnut Coffee table with Brass Legs

A 1960’s walnut coffee table with brass tubular legs. The brass tubing surrounds a solid oak leg and is attached to the top with a wedged through tenon. This produces a beautifully executed detail in each corner of contrasting timbers and brass outline: a re-working of a very traditional jointing method in a modern form.
