Arne Wahl Iversen Rosewood Desk

Designed by Arne Wahl Iversen and produced by Vinde Mobelfabrik, Denmark c1960. Model number 56 rosewood desk with raised superstructure. A beautiful writing table that epitomises the best of Danish design and craftsmanship from this period. The desk has two long drawers, each with working lock, ebonised escutcheons and an original key. The raised structure at the back has a single drawer, recessed cubby hole and divided letter/paper rack. The desk is raised on elegant legs which are united by brass stretchers and which can be removed for delivery if needed. This writing table has been carefully restored to preserve the mellow honey colour of the finely figured rosewood surfaces and is in excellent condition.
