Art Deco Walnut Cocktail Cabinet by H & L Epstein 1930’s

An original Art Deco cocktail cabinet and sideboard in burr walnut with maple wood interior produced in the 1930’s by Harry & Lou Epstein, London, England. The cabinet features a pair of fluted central cupboard doors with stepped cupboards either side. The central top section lifts so that with the doors open there is complete access to the interior. This is lined with the original peach mirror, together with a sliding mirror shelf at the bottom and there are two original, shaped, peach glass shelves. The sideboard is raised on elegant curved end supports above a shaped plinth base so the piece appears lifted, almost floating.
