Tobjorn Afdal Rosewood Dry Bar

Designed by Torbjorn Afdal and produced by Bruksbo, Norway c1960. A superb rosewood dry bar with folding top and doors that open 180′ to reveal a beautifully fitted solid rosewood interior. The quality of the cabinet is exceptional. The beautifully figured rosewood veneers are all book matched – not just the doors but also the sides and back and the inside of the doors. The bar is in excellent original condition and has a particularly attractive honey colour that only age can produce and which is lost by re-polishing. The cabinet also has its original chrome and black castors so it can be easily moved around. The black laminate surface on the top is a practical surface for drinks preparation and is framed by rosewood. These black surfaces are in very good condition with only light surface marks.
