Ingmar Relling Day Bed

Designed by Ingmar Relling and produced by Ekornes of Norway in the 1960’s. This is the model Svane in a mixture of teak, afromosia and beech timbers. The day bed has been completely re-upholstered and re-furbished. All the interior materials have been replaced and the sofa then finished in a wool cloth from Bute Fabrics. The seat lifts up to reveal a canvas storage compartment which is also brand new but made to the original design. There is a teak table surface at one end which lifts up to reveal a similarly finished canvas storage area.
